Foundation donates to Alexian Brothers

The Heart Of A Marine Foundation has donated Aphasia rehabilitative, interactive software as well as laptop computers to the Alexian Brothers Workforce Development Learning Institute. The donation is to assist in the treatment and therapy of military veterans.

The Alexian Brothers Workforce Development Learning Institute located in Elk Grove Village, is the first civilian facility to assist military veterans in rehabilitation for traumatic brain injury (TBI) and post traumtic stress disorder (PTSD).

Ms. Kathleen Prunty, Executive Director of the Workforce Development Learning Center was thrilled for the donation. "We can not express how grateful we are to The Heart Of A Marine Foundation for this generous donation," stated Ms. Prunty. "Roy and Georgette Frank are truly a special couple with an incredible spirit."

A reception is scheduled for October 10 to introduce the computers and software.
