Walking Tall Project

The Cane Project as it was originally named, was the first project initiated by The Heart Of A Marine Foundation. Born out of the need to reduce the amount of hand irritants and blisters due to shepard canes (wood/metal hook hand grip) an orthopedic hand grip (ergonomically sculptured) and adjustable staff were the answer for those needing assistance with walking canes.

Orthopedic Cane Donations

  • Walter Reed Army Medical Center
  • Bethesda Naval Hospital
  • Wounded Warrior Barracks at Camp LeJeune
  • Wounded Warrior Center in San Diego
  • Any military member or veteran in need.

Roy Frank, founder of The Heart Of A Marine Foundation, travels with the canes in his car, and will supply one to any veteran or military member he meets in need.

These orthopedic canes provide aid and comfort to those who have been injured and need additional assistance in mobility. Canes are available in a ‘right’ and ‘left’ handed models.   Please contact The Heart Of A Marine Foundation if you, a family member, veteran, or someone you know in the military is in need of an orthopedic cane. We will be honored to send one to you without cost.
